Emily and Charlie matched on Hinge. Theres some back and forth about crossword puzzles and sea turtles... Emily asked Charlie on a date.


January 4, 2023
First date! Emily tried (unsuccessfully) not to talk too much. Charlie tried (successfully) to talk about wine.


January 7, 2023
Second date! It started as lunch, turned into hanging out with Charlies 6th grade girlfriend, and ended with meeting Emilys friends at a dive bar.


January 8-13, 2023
More dates! Charlie revealed that hes going snowboarding in Colorado for 6 weeks. Emily wondered if he had a job (??). Either way, she assumed hed become a mountain man and she’d never hear from him again.


January- February, 2023
She heard from him again (a few times!) and even got a couple of flower deliveries! Once Charlie was back, things picked up, and it was like he never left.


Since then...
-Emily fully transformed into a dog mom
-Charlie learned a lot about curly hair
-Emily crashed Charlies car into the house (oops!)
-Charlie killed a lot of bugs
-Georgia has gone 2-1 against Texas
-Emily tried skiing and loved it
-Charlie tried scuba diving and loved it


They decided to make it official when Charlie proposed this December, and cant wait to celebrate with their closest friends and family in October.
